Since the dawn of time, people have told tales of things and people vanishing without a trace. People have searched for answers for centuries to the mystery of these disappearances. While no one has fully answered the question of what causes these events to happen, there have been several theories put forth. Many of these theories involve the use of a power source of immense power that flares up and causes the disappearances. The flare ups cause rifts in space and time in which items are moved from one place in space and time to another place in space and time. But the the question becomes where do these lost items go? Others ask what the nature of this power source would be, is it energy? is it gravity? is it cosmic rays? or even magic? Technology, science, and the arcane arts have been used to help people solve these mysterious disappearances and still the mystery continues. The only thing that so far has been proven is that it is impossible to predict who or what will disappear during these events and that there is no way to predict where these events will happen.
A few now know where these disappearances will take you, but still they don’t know why the disappearances happen. For these few, the internal quest of understanding has begun. For most, the secret as to why the disappearances happen could lead them to learn how to escape their fate. They have learned that there are secrets on this island that can lead someone onto a trail of mystery that ends with a powerful artifact that can bend space and time.
Other people, who have been studying the disappearances, have reached the same conclusion. They actively seek out places where they feel a disappearance may happen and try to follow what they believe will bring them to the island.
Once everyone gets to the island, they find themselves drawn in to the mystery of the island and seek to discover the powerful secret that lands somewhere on the island and how it causes such chaos!
